Fostering Students’ Speaking Ability through English Club Activities

This research aimed to describe a Community Language Learning (CLL) program, the English Club (E-Club), activities and their impacts enhance students’ speaking ability. study employed descriptive qualitative method. To gather data, researchers administered questionnaires twenty-seven eleventh-grade students who participated in E-Club at Public Vocational High School (SMKN) 1 Sooko, Malang, East Java, Indonesia. Then, interviewed five one teacher expand on information received. The data analysis operated were gathering displaying drawing conclusions. research’s reliability was checked through triangulation. findings showed that speech, storytelling, group discussion, reading aloud. Following implementation of these activities, abilities including grammatical accuracy, vocabulary mastery, pronunciation ability, fluidity, ability organize concept had increased. Moreover, experienced low anxiety possessed higher learning interest. These positive resulted by role prepare suitable teaching methods create environment.
